Who’s Elodie?
Elodie, Bird Tree Building co’s on staff designer, is a third generation Hi-Desert dweller.
Elodie’s journey began in her own home where she experimented with color palettes, textures, and layouts. Working in a coffee shop in Palm Springs put Elodie into the orbit of seasoned designers and architects. She embraced opportunities to learn from professionals and stay updated on design trends.
Now, as a valuable part of the Bird Tree Company, Elodie has plenty of opportunities to follow her passion for designing and rendering spaces. She prides herself on her collaborative approach, working closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life.

“Every Client is a collection of stories. Uncovering their preferences and little idiosyncrasies helps me understand how they will use the spaces we collaboratively create.
My favourite spaces to design are coffee stations, bars, anything that is extra and fulfilling a specific purpose in someone’s life. I like to think how a space will be used and design it to be intuitive to move through. How lucky we are to be the ones to create these functional pieces of art.
My favourite challenge is when I’m working for a client with unusual tastes. I love to look at an aesthetic that I do not naturally gravitate towards and see what others are drawn to. Every day is an opportunity to expand my definition of what is beautiful.”
